Can anyone tell me how much I need to derate a propane 93% Janitrol counterflow furnace for my house in Colorado at 7000' elevation? The house now has a 70K electric Nordyne furnace. With natural gas I would need to derate a furnace 4% per 1000'. Is it the same with propane? Notjwen

You will need to consult the manual on that furnace. Go to goodman.com and see if there is a pdf file on your model.

I agree with Fritz, contact either Goodman or a Goodman dealer and have them look up the proper orfices and regulator kit for the furnace. In some instances, new burners and pressure switch may also be required for proper and safe operation.
