Got a call to come inspect a leak at a college campus residence hall.
I meet up with the maintenance supervisor and we are proceeding to go out on the roof to inspect. He is telling me that the maintenance guys moved the ballast around and found this gash in the roof and "fixed" it. I was expecting to see the usual tube of caulk or, worse yet, mastic plastered all over the roof. This was actually a pleasant surprise and I just had to get a picture for the hall of shame album.

Well guys-who-have-seen-it-all....you are wrong.

At least they used the ballast
