I have a problast soda pot that I use as my main pot. happy with it. its portable and works well. only one issue. the mac valves that control the air and media. I go through a couple a year at $200-ish a pop. talked to my mac valve guy and he says my failures are caused by media thats getting inside. (shocking) killed another one today.

i know surface tek uses the same pot. is there a way I can switch to a media friendly valve that doesn't get eaten up by media?

any help would be appreciated

A few of us took our surface tek pots and converted to a Thopson 2 slotted and found a whole new air valve off eBay. It means you take the pop up solenoid off the top and stick a pipe plug in the machined flange and completely change the theory of the whole machine. Works GREAT!
