Remodeling and running a 3" vent stack from the 2nd floor down to the basement. Does this have to be pressure tested? My concern is that after I tie it into the existing 3" stack I don't know how it could be tested. The existing stack runs to the main line that goes out to the sceptic and there is no access to the clean out.

I don't want to leave it loose, before tying into the existing stack, for testing purposes because when the end of the pipe is swung to make that final connection it would put a lot of pressure on the joint on the opposite end.
