Wild ass garage roof is coming along. I left it to one of my supers a few days ago once we got all the math fingered. Was there yesterday morning and snapped these pics. Cool as hell, wish I was there but they need my grrr at a big commercial framing project.

My brother brought in a nice little table he's had for some time. Picked it up at a tag sale or something. About 2.5 weeks ago he placed a hot pizza box on it and the finish turned white. He had a towel under it to protect the table, well... that didn't work.

You can see the imprint of the towel and of the cardboard corrugations.

I was hoping it was a simple shellac finish. I sprayed the whole top with denatured alcohol. It should have laid out flat but it seemed to lay down in bubble like areas, classic fisheye. Likely someone used Pledge polish on it. The white spot went away but came back. I sprayed again and it helped but it was still there.
I put some DNA on a 2000 grit sanding pad and wet sanded the white spot. Seemed to work well. Here's the result.

Lol could have been the inspiration. Very unassuming but the peak of the ceiling is 15 feet! Not totally sure why the guy went so crazy on the design but I'm glad he did.That's cool...

Ended up with a few days between jobs so I spent some time on these shelves so I can finally get the van in order. Still a lot to do but at least it’s starting to come together.

I'm so tired of painting.
Jambs, storms, exterior trim, sashes.
I figured out no one I know in the sash business finishes their stuff, they said it sucks. [emoji38]

Same home as the bar I posted earlier. Same inverted v shiplap. At 24 inches deep I think it projected too much into the room, but it's what they wanted. Gold hardware is nice though.
