This is project number three for the client with the round top storm door and we’re in discussions for project number four👏🏻

The north side of the house had several areas of the paint and stucco failing, the first day was a scraper, a chisel, and a hammer then it was time to get busy mixing up some stucco today was primer and one coat of paint.

I’m getting a property ready for sale and I came across a light in the bathroom that was filled with water, the lightbulb was even filled with water, above the ceiling was another bucket filled with water and above that was the cast-iron vent pipe.

From what I can tell, it looks like multiple repairs to the cast-iron pipe and elbow connection using tar….. but everybody missed that it was the rubber seal on the roof😂

My cabs, not my install. They need to tighten up the gap on the fridge.

No countertop yet. So crown is on hold.

I know the feeling. I always look at it as strips. Most of my stock is 11-13' long so it takes 12 strips for 140 feet or whatever lengths I need.

Finishing up on this part of the build of a bar. This is the back wall cabinet. It has a refer cab on the left and a DW cab on the right that's just a box with no back and a FF.

Only picture I have of the two side cabinets. Obviously they are finished also

And I screwed up and didn't place an order for drawer slides. I needed 12 pair for this job and only had 4 at the shop. Installing, putting fronts on and removing the slides to put in another spot so I could continue on with the installing of the doors and drawer fronts.

This cabinet has a few pullouts. The other areas are open for plumbing and an uplift pump for drainage because it's in the basement.
Image

Then the island cabinet which will have a live edge 2" thick cherry slab on it.

After I stole 3 slides from the other cabinet I was able to put in this side of drawers, plus the upper right drawer and get the fronts fitted in place.
Image

It was the end of the day but I decided to put in the trash pullout and faked the upper drawer front in place. Not enough slides to mount it and take a picture. You can see the maple spacer between them.
Image

The trash pullout has a double drawer that is really a single pc.

The GC I did for the Blue cabs I put up the other day came by and saw the island cab and was awe struck. Nice to be appreciated.

I usually get 8"+ boards skip planed to 15/16". Cut those up and mill them to parts. All my stock ends up 2 7/16" and the stick cutter takes off a 1/16" to yield 2 3/8".

Yesterday we delivered the cabinets for the small basement bar job. Took 2 trips so I got back around 3. So I decided I would try to get that cherry top completed. I needed to take the straight ends and rough them up so bring on the Sawzal.
Image

Hacked up the ends and then proceeded with sanding with 100 then 150 grit. Had to flatten two areas of epoxy.

Then put it in the sprayroom and put a coat of Polarion 2K sealer.
Image

Went home at that point and had dinner. After 2 hours passed I went back to the shop and flipped the top. Damn heavy. 2 coats of Krystal which is a conversion varnish. 45 minutes between coats.

Flipped it again scuffed up the Polarion sealer, wiped it down with denatured alcohol, blew it off, mixed up 15oz gloss with 5oz of satin added the 4oz of catalyst and 1oz of thinner. Blew the top off again and put on a heavy box coat. Left the shop at midnight.

Got the cabinets installed today.

6:50am in the shop at 8:10, a bit later than I wanted.

After I got home I was pretty ripe. Took a shower and went to bed about 1am

No idea what it's called. It a very wrinkled textured plastic that came in a roll.
