Nope. Getting picked up unfinished. The interior is clear coated along with the shelving. It's getting painted. By a brush. :cautious:

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but you're skipping a few steps if you're painting that.

Likely going to be LF because I'm planning on S4S, $4.45 LF, tax, deliver just about $1100.

I'm trying to figure out if I can do this in a week. Lots of ways to screw this up. No rhyme or reason to the layout so optimal opportunity for Murphy's Law to grab hold hard.

If they fill it with books will it sag?

I can't answer that question. It's got a 6' piano hinge. The top track is extruded aluminum, light weight with a roller. I don't think I'd want to fill it with books. My client will fill it with decorative smalls like pictures, vases ect. We talked about using the tacky puddy to keep them from shifting when opening & closing. It ran fairly smooth.

I did the bookcase with the SOSS hinges, they are expensive but worked well. All my other hidden projects I"ve made my own system which is seriously heavy duty.

It does. I thought I needed that hole to work the pin in. Instead, I got it fully functional before I put the valance on. Was able to drop the pin in from above. I painted a piece of peel & stick veneer & covered the hole after I took the pic.
I should have quoted Leo, was pointing out you most likley used some sort of pivot pin system.

I knew the job wasn't complete and you'd never leave it like that.

Minor kitchen remodel, new doors and drawers, sanded the face frames and sprayed them with dead flat clear to get get a raw look. Not sure how it's going to hold up, but it's a vacation home. Cabinet over the fridge and to the right are new, tore out a desk there to make a coffee bar area. Sending the doors off to get seeded glass in them. Ran into a hiccup with the granite, one of the slabs broke in transport so my fabricator is trying to see if he can salvage the broken one 🫤. Next step is tops and tile backsplash.

Guys got a lot of clearing done on a 3/4 mile ranch road up to the site, lot of chain saw work, skid steer w/grapple and mini ex with thumb, plus the build site, probably 300 yards of limbs - about 25 - 30 dump trucks - I'm not easily impressed but the superintendent who will build this house is dead in the water on one house (selections) and got his other custom home he got lined out and he went up there and led the charge on this himself, he's the best equipment operator I've ever had but even for him he got a chit ton done with Two guys over about 70 billable man hours (2.5 days before they got rained out) He is going to slick that site put today now that it dried up, he and I are staking out the house for the owner to see Wednsday, I'll meet the owners up there at 7 on Wednesday evening

The budgets 600k high and I thought they would walk or redesign or forfeit the 1% they put up and get a cheaper builder but doesn't look like they will. 5700 sq ft and Infiniti edge 30x18 pool on that cliff to the left, and a barn. Nice gig

Owner knew I liked cigars from a conversation at the Parade of Homes last year and gave me the Olivia - which happens to be my favorite brand so I burned it while I was unloading the backhoe at the bottom of the hill to clear for power and water, played around on it a bit, no fun being the boss if you can't play with the toys - like my wife says you didn't grow up you just got bigger toys 😆

The 4x4 and new tires got to test the steel belted, puncture resisted, it was rough pulkling that back hoe back there, surprised the trucks not scrathed up they got great paint now days. One of my guys said to wait for Tony to get there with the dually so I wouldn't scratch it up but I'm not big on waiting, told him I bought her to make money not look pretty. He probably thinks it will go to him when I get a new one and doesn't want it scratched up but going by all my other trucks it will be beat up when thst happens, I'm the worst about it on our crew lol
