Got 6 stained doors. 4 had panels and 2 had glass. They wanted the reverse. Made a jig for a router with a pattern bearing on it and cut out the inside backer that held in the panels, got some glass made with a cathedral top and installed it with quarter round I made, stained and finished.

And then there were the 2 glass doors with mullions that needed the glass removed and the mullions eliminated. The quarter round was installed with 21ga staples, those were fun. Quarter round broke at every staple and then there was the hot melt glue they put in there to make it a real joy to remove them. The mullions were also hot melt glued in. Found that out after slightly damaging the bead under one of the mullions (sanded it out). After that I set the heat gun at 300F and was able to remove them without damaging the other part of the door.

The finish is still a little glossier than the frames because it's fresh. It'll take a week or so before it gets to it actual sheen. Hopefully it'll match well. Color is very close, not perfect. They used a two step system and I tried with my stain to do the same but the toner I used made the color to bright. So I just said f it, good enough.
Pin will tell you how hard it is to get a perfect match.
