How could a 2x be made more abrasion resistant? It would be the ultimate eco friendly cutting edge.

Teflon? Paint? Marvel’s Mystery Oil?

Snowpushers, straight blades and V-plows too… Shovel and Snowblower I’m in love with you… Whatever it is I think I see…
Becomes a wooden plow to me.

My thought was that it wouldn't abraid away, it would catch on something and split along the grain.

Probably wrong.

I have a similar size pusher that I replaced the rubber with a UHMW edge. Made a big difference. A pusher will never get as good of a scrape on packed snow because the skis ride up the snow before the edge can scrape.
Thanks. Did you use polyurethane or UHMW polyethylene?

I’m confused about what poly means in the context of snow cutting edges.

i think it was just UHMW. I picked up a length from a supplier in town and cut it to fit for the pusher. Amazing how well it wears.
I think poly is just the easy term to use but they are all UHMW .
