Re-roofing a 10X14 backyard shed. Tore off the cedar shingles and layed ply and felt in prep for asphalt shingles. The roof wasn't constructed well and if you were to look down at the long edge of the roof at the eave it wouldn't be straight. Center is off by about 3 inches. Should I just try to even it out with the second row using a large overlap? I'd have to do that at the top as well.

I think that would look better than following the line with all the shingles, That would look like one big wave. What do you think?

P.S. I'm not considering trying to rectify the situation, not worth it for the old shed.

Start Your First Shingle Course Past The Edge, Lay Up Off Of That Line, And When Youre Done, Snap A Line One Inch Past The Furthest Point Along The Roof Edge And Cut To This Line.....not Legal Advice, Just My Opinion.
