How waterproof is it? They guarantee that?

I have had in upto 6ft deep upto yet with no signs of water inside.

Otter Box acquired Life Proof 6-8 months ago, this case looks like a rebranded Life Proof. Rumor has it Otter could not come up with a water proof case so they did the next best thing, bought the company that made the best water proof case. I've had the Life Proof on my 4S for 3 years or so. Not a single issue with it.

I recall paying around $90.00 for the case and belt clip.

Its nothing like the life proof case. Its much better though. I went through 4 life proof cases before the armor come out. Its bulkier but its much tougher.

I'd rather get a new phone if it breaks than have to lug around that case everywhere. One of the nice things about the iphone is how light and slim it is. You can actually put it in your pocket and it doesn't feel like your carrying around a cinder block.

You seen the price of a replacement iPhone? They break by looking at them wrong so a case is def needed with one.

I think I have a $50 deductible to replace mine. I use a one piece soft case and a have not had to replace a 4 or 5 yet. I've dropped both many times. Broke the glass back on my 4 once and the Apple store replaced the back free of charge in a matter of minutes.

I guess if you have bad luck with phones, the cases are worth it. Like I said, I'll pay to replace mine to not have to deal with the bulk and awkwardness of large cases

I have drop my iPhone 5 into water 3x now lol. Lucky for me it was in the case.

$50 deductibles not so bad though. I don't ever take insurance out in phones. To much if a rip off each month.

Sweet, I just got another defender case a few weeks ago after passing on the armor since it was so expensive. For $25 I'll give it a try

Just thought my case was getting a bit rough looking for 25 if I hate it Oh well. Worth a try
