I have a customer that has explained that her old house (built in the 20's) has a full bath in the basement and half bath on the main floor. It is a single story home. This house has three rooms. Living, bedroom, kitchen one behind the other. She said that her mortgage company does not consider her house to be of legal stature because of no full bath on the main floor. She wants to refinance but it can not be done until this bath is converted. I told her I would look into this but have come up empty. I am willing to do the conversion for her. My background includes basement finishing and some kitchens so far. I want to come back to her with some answers. Any help would be appreciated.
