All the new deadbolts are being shipped with the longer, heavy-duty, high security strike plate, but the door manufacturers aren't mortising the jambs out for them, and I keep forgetting to specify that. :wallbash:

Besides, existing doors are already mortised out for the smaller plate.

I wish Kwikset would just package both kinds of strike plates in the box. How frikkin hard is that.
