I am fairly new at this (about 2 years..) but I am buying and restoring/remodeling historic homes. I'm sure there are easier things to do.. but I fell in love with a little duplex that needed so much help. Then bought 4 more on the same street. Each house has had it's own challenges. I was lucky enough to find some good subs.. but not after I found some deadbeats. I don't know if I'd tackle so much all at once again.. me being new and all, I'm full of questions and am a real good listener.

One of my biggest challenges is working with subs that assure me that "this" is the correct way to do this" then I end up with cracks, humps, bumps and just to me.. poor workmanship. :furious: I came here to learn and get your opinions on certain materials and read your suggestions.

I'm going to keep looking for good properties, but probably will only be doing 1 or 2 at a time.

I probably should have read some other intros before I did mine so I know what you are looking for. Sorry!

I fired up my Real Estate License so I could go in any of the houses that were on the market instead of waiting for an escort.
