This forum was a great find.

I dig the fact that there is a connection point for professionals in the know.

I'm on a really big job in L.A. and we're design build with let's just say a sub-par architect.

Additionally the LADBS is not always helpful when it comes to issues that are not clearly defined on the front end.

Welcome to L.A. county
No welcome necessary.

Been in the business 25 years, this year.
Probably 15 solid of those years were spent here in the L.A. area doing mostly high-rise, large scale projects, high-rise T.I., you name it.

Prior to that I was a REAL high-end residential electrical / lighting control systems contractor.

The funny thing is even with all the years I've been working here in L.A. I still feel like I don't really know anyone at the LADBS.

LAFD...Yes. But the inspectors are always a surprise it seems.

Bastids!
