I guess I should introduce myself...

I'm Nick. Or Tex...

I live right outside Tulsa, Oklahoma. I do remodeling, but only the carpentry. Trim, cabinets, and a little light framing. Mostly interior stuff, and lots of kitchens and bathrooms. I do some custom stuff in living rooms and offices as well. If the price is right I'll even work outside:D

I don't do any GC stuff, I've got relationships with a few of them. I don't much care for it. Just wanna work. At least right now.

I'm 27, been doing this since I was 15. Been working for myself for almost 5 years now.

I've got a lightly modified Cummins dragging around my tool trailer. And I'm displacedtexan on a few other forums. This is the only construction one so far. I've been reading it a little bit lately, and I like it. Lots of info. And I spend most of my waking (and sleeping) hours thinking about building and trimming stuff, so here I am.

You're in the right place then.

Welcome!
Welcome. I too am new to this site. Besides a little bit of bickering, it seems on the up and up. Its great to see someone else in my age bracket operating his own company. I hope all is well!
Everything is good with me... And ditto on the fact that it's nice to see some more young guys with some inative and a work ethic.

And if you think there is bickering here... I read another site (membership there is closed) where the motto is "Where the weak are killed and eaten"
woodworx and displaced,

Yes there is some rough housing on this site too. No different than a typical jobsite though.

It really is for the most part all in good fun. You have to be a little thick-skinned and don't worry about a few barbs from some of the guys.

Stand your ground when you feel you are right and you will get respect.

It's nice to see some younger guys with good work ethics are still out there.

Yep. That's what makes these things fun!

Tulsa is definitely a pretty decent place to live. And a good bit of work...

And thanks for the:clap:
