New Member - Rockford, Illinois

Hey all, I'm a remodeling contractor from Rockford, Illinois 61103.
I started remodeling full time right out of High School is 1989.
Worked with my Dad, he & my Mom owned B&M Services since about 1979.
We were a remodeling company that plowed snow in the winter, when it was slow. We started doing fire rehab work in 1990. Because of that, I got to learn how to use Xactimate when it was a DOS based program.
I shared in responsibility, of running the company, with my Mom when my Dad passed in 1994.
I took over the business name when my Mom passed away about 2 months ago. I was working as a sub as well for the last 8-10 years.
The business was based in Bolingbrook, Illinois 60140 (60139).

I've built low & no maintenance decks, fences, arbors, pergolas, gazebos, and boat docks mainly the last 12 summers. filling in with indoor remodeling (the best I could) in the colder months.

I found this site looking for pricing I needed for a painting quote.
There's alot of great info I've found in the last 2hrs, I've been checking the place out!

I've worked with many of the low/no maintenance backyard products on the market. Some that I like include: BrockDeck, DeckLok, Azek (Procell), EverGrain, Monarch Exotics, TimberTech, & VinylWorks Railings (Also BrockRail) I don't care for Trex & I'm not afraid to share/discuss it with anyone that disagrees.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone! :notworthy I'm sure I'll learn a thing or 2!
