I have been doing a lot of reading on this site, there is a ton of good info. I just started my own remodeling/handyman biz about a year ago. Anyone else from MN?

Welcome from another Minnesotan!
Due to the recent weather you probably have some time to think and plan. A previous boss said "contractors make more money in the winter when they have a chance to think and plan".
I had a lake home at Gull Lake and always waited for a good blizzard coming so I could take my computer up and get there before the start and spend a few days trapped with my cable TV and telephone and do business at my own rate. the best was a storm that required me to leave at 4:30 AM to get my supplies and to my cabin just as the snow started. We had 22" of snow that eventually drifted. Four days later, I blew out of my garage in my Oldsmobile since the car was backed in and got to the plowed road. Best time ever! - Winter is just a state of mind if you look ahead.
