A few years ago, I joined a networking group to generate remodeling leads. It was somewhat successful provided I worked it. I held the remodeling seat as a design/build estimator for kitchens, baths and additions.

As lead generation costs increased significantly for direct mail, yellow pages and media it was good to have some referral business to meet my numbers.

It seems like there are hundreds of groups popping up all over the place and this may be here to stay.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on generating leads through networking groups?

What type of groups work for you?
