Fort Maddy. I use Quickbooks Pro and have from the beginning. It was a bit of a learning curve but very user friendly. It will help keep track of just about all you business needs. I used to swing a hammer for Frank Baxter from Fort MasdisonI am new to the business but not new to the trade. Im trying to figure out easy ways for bookkeeping from job to job and payroll. Anyone have any good ideas for me.
Online banking.I am an Excell guy. It allows me to tweak things as I want, is user friendly for any accountant when you need to send him/her numbers, as well as the layman.
Keep track of your receipts in a big notebook, and there is always a good paper trail with writing checks as opposed to credit cards (opinion).
