Very excited to begin this 5,700 sq ft project this summer. We jumped through the hurdles of the local zoning board and should be able to have permit in hand in a few weeks. Looking into precast concrete for the first floor.

Going to build in house. Frame to finish. A lot of my work for the past few years has been as a subcontractor for other contractors so it'll be a nice change to make some money for myself. Also have a nice high end commercial interior trim job just few doors down from this job that I'll be doing at the same time. It's gonna be a CRAZY summer....

What sort of business is going to be in there? Is that M.V. - style commercial?
 yes, DEFINITELY MV style commercial with the Red Cedar trim & white cedar sidewall. It's going to be a power equipment sales floor on the main floor, repair shop in basement, and two residential units on the second floor.

Time to brush up on commercial codes & regs.
