My bar.

Table Furniture Indoor games and sports Games Pool
I built this bar in my basement about four years ago. Made the bar mold with a table saw, router, and a lot of sanding. The holes under the bar molding have rope lighting behind them (looks cool at night).

The rope is covering a steel beam support post. Had to build the bar around the post. The log corners were leftover stair treads from a log home I built in 2000. Took me a while to find a use for them but they were too cool to get rid of.

Yeah I know, what the pendant lights hang off of sort of sucks but they look cool at night too.

Did you leave the logs short so they would not wick up water?:jester:

Cool, party at Strats house  Unfortunately it looks like a BYOB as that cooler looks pretty empty :jester:

You put some effort into it & it shows
Why would you ever want
to leave that room? :laughing::clap:

Before the 2007 Findlay, Ohio flood I had beige berber carpet down there. Man, it was pristine. I built this house twelve years ago. Had the basement contractors put two sump pump pits in just in case.

My house is not in the local flood plain but with the amount of rain we got the sump pumps could not keep up. The basement took in four inches of water due to the amount of rain we got. Hence the staining of the corner log. Lost my bigscreen too ! Oh well, I do know this, I'm not putting carpet down there again ! Acid stain ? epoxy ? Hell, I like it the way it is.
Like someone else said, that is a killer man cave!

If you had a cot, I'd give you $1200 a month. Not a penny more. I'll stock the fridge.

wheres the bar for the hooker/stripper when you invite your CT buds over?
Beautiful woodwork. The log cabin feature is

Are those pendant lights done in wiremold?
Thanks. Yeah I think it's called wiremold. A buddy of mine did the electric.

The other basement post does not have rope around it. For good reason. My wife hired a surprise stripper for my fifty'th birthday party. Had about forty people over. She was booked for ninety minutes and had so much fun she ended up staying most of the night partying with us.

Wish I could post those pics !:laughing:
Heading out the door with a case under one arm

Your pix of the bar top corner is like an art photo for those who know how much work it takes. The darker inlay between the two lghter sides and the stained crown mold reversed with it all flowing together could make a guy head out to his truck with a case of cold ones under his arm, ready to shoot a few games then prop up on a stool at that corner just admiring the craftsmanship.
