This is actually part of a major kitchen remodel that "paused" for about a year while one of the HOs went through a major surgey. They are doing the finishing touches now. I really like them as they took about 90% of my suggestions and let me get a little wild at times. They are both seniors.

It took about 6 months to come up with a backsplash design they liked. I always deal with Daltile when it's my choice. Not sure what happened with this order but probably got confusing because I let the HO get the tile at my cost so they actually did the final order. I'm sure somewhere between their senior-selves and the Dal-designer's interpretation, things got mixed up.

Counter is only Staron solid surface. At the time, I was having issues with my ex-stone supplier so quartz or granite just wasn't in the budget. There's a "natural" theme happening overall so I wasn't happy about the solid surface. Oh well....

I actually hate mosaics. I tend to push a more linear tile for backsplashes, chair rails and borders.

I'll try to pull up some of my back splashes as an example.

I once did a "full sweep" backsplash in 1/2" x 1/2". Was like pulling teeth.
