Moving and remodeling a barn

Here is a little project we completed early this spring. We move a two stall barn approximately 400 ft and converted it into a two car garage. We added about 6 feet to the front, poured a concrete slab and added two garage doors to match existing.

Nicely done, but you have the soil graded above the siding on the left side. That will rot out in a few years.

But you did a nice job, it matches the existing very well. Just needs some foundation.

That is so true, but no matter how much space you have it will always end up full!


the siding that appears to go below the dirt isn't siding. It's a peice of Azek we put in to seal it up, so the soil wouldn't make it to the framing.

That's funny I almost wrote in my original post "unless that's a piece of Azek trim painted to match." :laughing:
