Hi all,
New to the forum. Looking at potentially picking up a blasting setup to supplement income on nights and weekends. I do rental rehabs and such so have a decent network to tap for residential type work and live close to a lot of Marinas on Lake Michigan. Hopefully this thread isn't too dead yet, I had a couple of related questions:
I like the idea of being able to blast wet or dry--be more versatile. But, if I were only to vapor blast, it seems Geo is a crowd favorite.
Looks like Graco recently merged the geoblast and ecoquip product lines. Anybody have any experience with the new line? It looks pretty decent and they have a couple pretty small/portable units. Obviously limited in capacity, but handy to get around.
Secondly, I was poking around the dustless blasting website and noticed this recent post:
https://www.dustlessblasting.com/blog/dustless-blasting-works-on-wood
It indicates their unit can blast dry or wet. Is this a new feature to their line? Anybody who has one able to confirm this? I reached out to them with a few questions the other day but haven't heard back.
Also, what are the opinions on Clemco's Wetblast Flex system? Seems to be set up similar to the ecoquip units, but with water injected after the pot, and allowing a wet or dry choice. Anyone have one of these?
Thanks all--you are a wealth of knowledge and experience!
