Well I was at Menards with the wife buying christmas lights. It was buy the concrete section and noticed a mixer had a big sign that said on sale. $180 for a 3.5 cuf mixer. Says it will mix 180# wet 200# dry. It's the house brand tool shop. Normally I wouldn't think twice about it but I have too pour 3 footings monday and tuesday and was going to rent a mixer. Now I am wondering if I made the right move or if I should go buy the one that I allways rent as I know it works well.

What do you guys think? Go buy the good one or try out the cheap one and maybe loose money.

Not sure about the mixer but all the tool shop tools I have seen are junk. Maybe if you don't use the mixer that often it might last and you get your money out of it.

I bought one last year for a deck footing job--Worked fine--Definitely light duty--I think it'll pay for itself long before it dies.--MIKE--
