I wonder what it was like 100 years ago with what they had to work with...


They seamed to do ok......



I wouldn't worry about it TBF,,,..may have some flexing going on when cutting.....swag ,......

That's why we are called craftsman......;)

I'd expect you could cut that roughly in half, but I don't know your saw. Getting better than 10 mils in 4 inches gets increasingly difficult. Looks like a stop adjustment is the major problem, like Prestige said.

speaking of mitre saw tuning, what do you guys use to lubricate the saw .. more specifically where the saw pivots on teh bevel.. i have the milwaukee and its getting pretty dry i shot some jigaloo in it but that only lasted a day.. would graphite be better?
