I have heard good things about the fuel 15 gauge which I don’t have. But I do have the 18 and 16 and will do about anything to not use them. Has to be a tiny job and a few nails other wise I get out the compressor.

They are heavy, finicky, don’t always sink nails and leave a HUGE hole.

Mike, I like the simple modification for holding the blades. :) I might have to think about picking a couple of the thin Packout's up while they are still on sale.

Edit: What size bolt, threaded nut did you use please?

As mentioned above though why do you carry so many blades and bits at once?

I carry a couple blades for each saw, and 2 specific use sets of drill bits, plus some auger bits...but I can't imagine carrying every bit I own, as that would be heavy.

You'll need to grind the bolt head down to almost flat and ditch the washer. It may hit when connecting to other boxes. I had to do some minor chisel work on the lids.

The bolt is 5/16" with a double 1" bolt extender nut.
Mike.

Better to have them and not need them than not have them and need them.

There smaller 1500 and up lumen lights are nice too. Having 2 of the rocket lights would be nice to kill shadows and add light (of course)

They ship to store for free. Of course by the dollar amount they will ship to your business/residence.

I much prefer the Packout's over the Ridgid's. Mostly for the handle. Ridgid's new clear top is nice a match for the clear lid Packout. At half the price it is hard not to appreciate the Ridgid boxes though. To me the minor cost difference is worth it.

Right now Home Depot has the best pricing. The little thin Packout is $20. The large box is $56, and the stack is $199.

I chatted online with them to find out when the sale ended, and they said Nov. 29th.

Since they don't have the Milwaukee boxes here, I don't have any way to personally compare them, but thanks for the input.

I have two stacks of the rigid boxes, at $99/stack they were hard to pass up last year. So I bought two stacks. The clear top organizer is pretty handy looking and will fit in with what I've got at this point.

I don't know why our local places don't get the same products you guys do, drives me nuts....

There is so much garbage stuff at my local HD it's mind boggling. Some good stuff but mostly a ton of junk.

Well you know Home Depot has an awesome return policy should you not like them after comparing them. :whistling

What I am hearing is excuses

Tomorrow I plan on picking up three more of the large Packout boxes, to go with the three stacks of Packout's I already have. They just didn't have them at the closest HD to me. Fortunately we have more than a few hardware stores to choose from, along with a couple Costco's!
