watched a crew install a metal roof on a house across the street today, it was -9* and even though they swept off 3inches of snow before unrolling insi I cant see covering the snow/ ice that had to still be on the shingles. I have read all the diffrent post on here about screw placement ect, but to me this seems like a screw it down get paid and run thing,,what do you think am I just over thinking it? :blink:

Oil canning can be a problem in low temp!i heard anyhow.

And frostbitten fingers. But no really the moisture left under seems like it could refreeze and lift metal up. I skipped metal today because of 20dgrweather.Tommorow the metal will be screwed!

thanks I have materials ready to do one just dont think the moisture would be a good thing,,mold ect. I have hung panels but somewhat new to metal roofs. I guess my neighbors house will be my free test unit, I can watch and see what happens..thanks guys..
