I think I'd be leary of excessive oil canning once it warms up...

Oil canning is not really an issue on an R-Panel, so you're probably fine.

Any flat panel you will have oil canning no matter what the temperature is. I recommend striations on vertical/architectural standing seam roofs or beaded panel for soffits.

The temps you are there are really not that cold compared to what we have up north here. Ours way below 0 to over a 100 above and I have seen little problems. Most of the oil canning is from install problems or metal that has been rolled poorly.

Last one I did at 20 degrees no problems except it was slippery as hell.

Why are you using "20 degrees" and "cold" in the same sentence? sheesh.

Will have effects on the installers but won't have any effect on the installation.

When it gets to 20 above that is when we start stripping down because it is getting to warm out.

Now if there was ice and snow build up I would not put the steel down , but not because it was a little cold out.
