Need help I have a project to paint warehouse that is 16'high 80' wide and 144' long I am going to spray I figured it is worth between 1.90-2.50 sf problem is they would like a break down on man hours material equipment and such does anyone have a good lay out? by the way this thing is going to take some serious pressure washing due to the fact it has been painted and is peeling. And should I charge the same price for roof.

I posted a similar thread awhile back about grain bins and metal buildings. Didn't get much response. I have opportunity to do a bunch of grain bins and morton buildings. However, I have no clue how to price them. I could go in and powerwash one day and probably spray out a good sized building in a day with two sprayers going. However, I know I need to charge more than two days labor. I would be interested in square foot pricing as well. Is that 1.90 including materials?

every market, job, customer is different.

its as simple as figuring out what your overhead is, what you need to charge to pay yourself or employees, and what % profit you want to make.

account for unexpected and price accordingly,

if the customer is going to give you more work price accordingly,

if the customer is goign to be a PITA price accordingly.

I'm curious, what kind of system are you guys are planing to use? and prep?

I would not use the same coating on the side of a metal building as I would on the roof.

I also would not use the same coating as either of the other two on grain bins...
