Does anyone know how long the state is taking to process csl renewals ?

I searched and found a thread from 2012 and it was averaging 4/6 weeks

Thanks
Todd

P.s I went with the online continuing ed for 99 for the 12 hour course
it was convenient and affordable , you've probably received their mailer
and if not i can post the name if that's allowed .

Mine was up in september. I sent in the renewal the end of july and it showed up at the end of october. I was nervous as it got close so i called and said what am i supposed to do in the meantime and they told me to submit permits with a copy of the cleared check we sent them, i was like yea right like anyones gonna accept that. Turns out all the towns were pretty used to it. Met one inspector that was still waiting over 4 months for his to come back!

Mine was in March and took less than 2 weeks. I left it to the last minute as well so was a little nervous about making sure I pulled permits before it expired but it turned out not to matter because the turnaround time was so quick.

I would not count on them processing it that quickly though. Mine had to be some kind of misfile where my paperwork skipped 9 of the 12 layers of bureaucracy that are usually required.

Mine took a while , back in Dec. (6-weeks)

I've heard they are faster now due to complaints

if you expire save the cancelled check for recert fee.

building inspectors will accept it if not over 90 days, So I was told.

I accidentally let mine expire by a couple weeks, took the online course and had it in the mail in a few weeks.

well I mailed (in mail box on Sunday ) the application for renewal on may 4th and got my license back on the 23 4 days shy of expiration :) I don't think the state have ever accomplished anything in 19 days :)
