A little over a year ago our cat, Decker, got stuck in the fireplace.
The neighbours were looking after them while we were away.
Luckily he knew how to use tools, and was able to get him out
It took me a long time to locate a brick that would fit.
My wife is now happy, and so is my cat.
Can't imagine a masonry saw going off by your ear though.

Now, I've got the world's dumbest 20 lb. crosseyed cat imaginable, but I can't imagine how a normal cat could get stuck there between the stove and the surround?????? Were any pictures of this taken? You know how the internet loves cat pictures!
