I am currently involved in a mid rise 7 floor building development and at the moment we are at the gray structure stage.

Our architects order 190mm high blocks for shear walls however the delivery we get typically from suppliers is off by a 5% margin.

Can anyone please help me understand what are the industry norms and how much variance or margin is typically allowed. What are the pros and cons if the block sizes are not up to mark.
