Mason or Tile installer for thin stone?

1928 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  lukachuki
Hi All, Just ripped out a UGLY Culture stone on my Gas fireplace wall,Picked out some nice looking thin stone,Now I need someone to install it( about 80 sq feet). Being in the Glass biz and doing high end custom shower doors, I come in contact with both very good Masons and tile guys. I just don't know who to ask and I don't want to insult anyone. And by the way
the look I want is a tight fit per say and the new Gas fireplace is arched (So maybe cutting involed?).Who do I ask?

Thanks in advance,John

If you mason buddies do the high end stuff you could ask them. (I do both)
If not ask a tile guy, my opinion is they should both be able to do it.
Too bad you didn't post this last winter, I would have been at your doorstep in an hour and a half.
