Hi all
I'm currently looking to purchase a Makita drill/driver combo kit and have narrowed it down to the lxt218x ($219) and lxt239 ($240) kits. Which do you recommend and why, any reason to stay away from one or the other.

Thanks for the help
I'd say the LXT239 because it's brushless and gets a lot more runtime on a battery.Oh I'm sorry mine is a newer one http://www.makitatools.com/en-us/Modules/Tools/ToolDetails.aspx?Name=XT248
I have one on CL now

just curious why are you selling them, not happy with them?
edit, nvrmnd , read the cl ad
No they are fine. I just like to keep them nice and turn them over every 6months to a year to keep mine updated. Also if they get to outdated nobody will buy them. This way the buyer gets a nice kit and I feel good about selling it.

i bought the makita LCT200W combo at home depot last year. i heard theres a difference in the one depot sells vs other tool suppliers. Is this true? They're fine for the work I do but im not honestly thrilled with them, especially after using a dewalt 20v driver a friend of mine has.
