Made a little mail box post a while back.

Made a new swim platform for the back of a boat as well.

Never mind the mess in the background.

Nice post--I do believe someone could make an entire business out of making and installing mail box posts---
I could get knives made for my 5 head tenoner to cut the tops and use my shaper with a collar to do the end of the arm.

probably 2500.00 in tooling.

I would need a truck with a jib crane to set those posts.

Swim platform looks like it belongs on an older Chris Craft or Ski Nautique....

So what kind of boat?

I really enjoy that swim platform! Did you make it out of teak? I am an inboard aficionado.

An old fiberglass great lakes boat, I/O, small cuddy, the platform was almost as much as the boat was.

Very nice, I wish I knew your mad skills years ago when I owned a Ski Tique (a 16 foot inboard with a 350 chev 300 hp beast-scary fast). Needed a swim platform. Yours looks great!

That's one heck of a nice infeed work platform for your spindle sander, is that listed in the accessory catalog? :jester:

Mailbox post looks stellar, I made one similar, timber frame style.

Finial wasn't my call.....
