That’s a good thought. In Minneapolis there is a maker space that will plane batches of lumber for a pretty reasonable price, you could look for something like that. The downside is you do have to take the lumber to the shop and then back to the job site.
Possible: I was thinking let the Pros process the lumber, then buy it...... If I used 100 K$ of S2 deck boards then maybe a 5-10 K$ 3 phase 240/460volt planer would net some profit?

Around here (grass prairie, hardwood) some small lumber mills(furniture wood sellers) might process your 3rd party lumber, but wouldn't be to excited too. you'd still provably have to round over the edge(s).
