How much a sq ft? :) j/k

Looks like a fun project. Beats what I've been doing lately. Bricking apts isnt the most fun way to spend your day. Hand over hand and trying to keep the brick count up.

Nice work, and a very nify little piece of engineering on the pick up mechanism.

CJ,
What are you using for the granite "match"? Mr. Brooks is not involved I know and I can't tell from the photos if you're using Getty or something along that line. Really interested !!!

D.

I asked Brooks if he really wanted the job, he didn't give a crap either way. Great to be 84 and still working every day. So we went way way way far away to get the stone. I'm sure you can figure it out. The only thing that sucks is that the pieces are trickling in...and I need corners DAMN IT.
Running out of straight work.

Just a little aside about this project. After all the dust settled I got a call from the GC that was awarded the work and was quizzed about my thoughts regarding the stone and the work. At that point I was pretty sure where the town and the work involved stood. The cute/funny part is that if the stone fabricator and I, working as I had planned had hooked into the now GC, all leads would have had the first name Duane!!!

Did I see you setting those with a back hoe? You got an operator helping or just doing it yourself?

Nice look, must be getting some stimulus money to be building a ramp like that. Maybe you should register in rampathon.

Is that a homemade grabber? I've used a grabber for curbing and stuff, That grabber in the picture is perfect for that veneer job.. I never did veneer with stones I couldn't pick up.. Why was the back drilled, I saw some wall ties.... Is there rebar behind them or is it all just stuck on with mud? We poured a pad of concrete in some prefab walls for a church recently.. Definitely not as nice of a ramp, yours is a beast
