man, my 3 yr old grandson has cervical lympha dententia...nothing life threatening being caught as quick as it was...will get out of hospital hopefully monday, still 4 days of needles and IV's for antibiotics after that at home...it KILLS me to see the little guy hurting when they change the IV's... and those nurses are so kind and caring. course most of them are mommy's too.

I'd rather you tear my fingers out than have to see and hear my sons in pain. It's worse than any physical torture. I feel for you.

That is really sad to hear. I feel for both you and him. I have had to watch my children go through some terrible things too. It broke my heart and was the most helpless, awful feelings I have ever experienced. Sure glad they cought it in time for him.

Glad they caught it early. It is heart wrenching to have to deal with that.

Def feel for you and your family Day. I have a 3 year old that has had problems with some hospital stays. Dealing with the IV's and watching them in a mini prison in the hospital as they look with those eyes trying to ask for help and not understanding whats goin on. It can get pretty hard to deal with. Sometimes ppl take to many things for granted, i wouldnt trade the health and happiness of my kids or family for anything else.

I'm a pappy to a 2 1/2 year old grand daughter. Gus is right puppies heal all. We got Aly a lab and they adore each other. Hope all is well with the little one...I can definately feel for you. We are supposed to be protectors and make everything better. Nothing worse than being helpless

I have no idea what that is but I hope he gets better fast. I been in his spot way to many times but it was always from a accident of some kind except the apendix.
As painful as it may be to watch he sounds like one tough kid, when I was 3 I don't think I could have handled needles/IVs. Heck even now I don't do well with needles...for my work insurance I had to give a blood test and before the lady could get a sample I had fainted fellout of my chair and smashed my head on my toolbox (yes which shouldn't have been on the dining room floor any way but I've heard that line too many damn times).
