So I have a home I built 2 years ago. In the basement is a buried Superior 18" lift pump to take care of the basement waste lines. Owner called yesterday and said the pump runs every 10-15 minutes or so. Upon inspection I noticed that ground water is seeping into the tank around the top of the lid! The tank is about 10" below the top of the slab due to the long run it's catching down there. My best case scenario is that a collar is placed around the tank and sealed and comes up to the height of the slab....

Now my question is what to make the collar out of? Has anyone run into this and how did you fix this type of situation? I have looked for items on line with no luck and the MFG is closed on the weekends.

Thanks, Karl
