i was asked the other day why the flush handel is on the left side of the tank i said i did not know but would ask then tell her what i found out.
like most things there is a reason can someone fill me in:jester:

Good question. Actually, in the Middle East the left hand is typically used for wiping and therefore considered to be unclean. Never heard of a similar taboo in Western culture, so I'd think it might be something as simple as a right-hander (the majority) is busy zipping/buckling/holding up with that hand while the left is free to flush the evidence.

I use a bidet seat

Self cleaning, no touching required.

It is the way to go.
