I allways thought you couldn't get blood out of a stone......it seems you can get water out of one. :cheesygri
The first place I'd look is across the top where the stone meets the siding.
If the stone goes all the way up to the soffit, I'd check it for cracking in the grout. If I coudn't find any cracks in the grout I would check to see if the roof wasn't leaking, allowing water between the stone and the wall.
