Has anyone been using the Werner Podium ladder. I checked it out at Home Depot Really a nice ladder if you don,t want to break out a scaffold. I went on Werner web site to find out if the Home Depot ladder was the same as all the others. It is posted that the color is the only difference Still 1A 300#Rating Home Depot is Red Black all others are Red Yellow

I just checked it out. Seems like a good idea if your needed height is constant as the platform isn't adjustable.

I am going to try the 9' reach and see how iy works out .They are cheap enough may go for the 12' later on

Just a lot of extra "ladders" that take up space. I guess it depends on the nature of your work.

That looks like a specialty ladder.

Not a universal use ladder.

If you think it will work for your application, then give it a try.

I think that's the ladder I saw last week, useless for 8' ceilings unless you are a dwarf

you don't have to stand on the platform portion if you don't need the height. it has lower steps like any other ladder.

I realize that but I can do that with any ladder, They should have made it a bit shorter no?

huh? you can get platform ladders in multiple sizes. 4' 5' 6' etc.

again, you can use the lower rungs like any other ladder. they also make a 3' or better yet, get a 2 ft. gorilla or werner platform for 8' walls.

I thought they were pretty gimmicky. What, you can't turn around when you're 4' up on a normal ladder?

These are all we are allowed to use on commercial sites here now, I absolutely hate them, theyre dangerous when you first step on the platform it wants to tip back.

Are you talking about the Werner ladder or another type. These just hit the market not to long ago.They are osha approved not some household ladder.It looks sturdy to me

huh? I see them on amazon for like $70-120 depending on size. Werner makes them but so does "little giant" and probably other brands
