Once again, lifetime is very tricky. Lifetime of the rated life expectancy of the product? Lifetime of the product if maintained properly? Your lifetime? The lifetime of the house? The original customers lifetime?
Who determines a faulty install? The manufacturer of the product? You? The homeowner? An Inspector?
Nearly all defects are found within the first few years so why go any futher than that? I suppose it may sound like a great selling point but other than that I am not sure how it would work.
