I'm a 55 year-old building trades instructor of 15 years, and was a contractor the previous 20. My students are grades 10 -12 and are usually the "rough crew" from our school. Amazing though how well they like to do community service projects and explore sustainable building methods and materials. They also (thanks to a helluva good local code man, Doug Diehl) have a good attitude toward building to code and adhering to OSHA regs. I try to assure that I have them all exit with OSHA 10 or better training. This forum covers the spectrum from hammer slammers to super-pros and I really enjoy the variety of viewpoints. Thanks for a great discussion platform for the people that "Build America"
