Owning the business and running the business do not necessarily have to coexist.
If you were able to show 100K in six months, you could afford 75K/yr (plus perks and benefits) for a competent person to run the business. While there would be oversight, your time commitment would be significantly reduced.
Seems like the time investment required to place a manager would show a pretty reasonable profit.
Additionally you put another person to work and keep the original sub from tanking the business.
