Hello;

bathroom in new construction.

I need to get the drain vents through the roof so I can roof my building.
The plumber is not available.

I have 2- 1 1/2" vents and 2- 2" vents.
Can I join any of these to reduce the number of roof penetrations?

If I can join them, can I run pipe horizontally to connect? Or do the vents all have to drain?

thanks

Yes you can join all of them and penetrate once with 2" as long as there is a full size stack(3" or 4")for that plumbing system already penetrating the roof. If not, then penetrate with 3".

Yes, you can run vents horizontally as long as they pitch back to the drain they serve. A safe way to pipe vents is to pipe them as if they were drains.
