Recently completed a mural hang at a casino under construction in West Virginia. digitally printed on type II vinyl, panels were 54" wide, and 28' tall. Total 62 panels, at over 6240 sq. ft. of wall space covered. Took me and 4 other hangers 5 days to prime/hang.

What's the printing process for something like that? I take it is done digitally, is it printed digitally too or some sort of offset press?

Mike, its printed digitally, on a printer very comparable to your pc's inkjet, only much larger and more $$$.

Why yes Bob, it does. But my class IV trailer hitch is struggling to tote the thing. and when I put it in the cab, the smell of ink gives a bad buzz

The printer itself costs anywhere from 250k - 500k, depending on the bells and whistles. Ink costs quite a bit too.

The murals cost, between the artist that painted it, the print shop, and my installation, in excess of 100k. (I don't know what the artist got, but know what me and the printer got, so I'm assuming I'm in the ballpark)
