So just for fun, if you were to take it to the next level and build an actual bunker how would you do it?
Dig a hole, fill with ICF and red iron, then cover it?
Tunnel down and build?
What about power, ventilation, flooding?
Any special building codes apply?
Would you build a house over your bunker or live like mole people?
Would you tie your bunker into the grid or be completely self sufficient? How?
I've seen the old German bunkers at Normandy, they're above ground but cool. I think there's WWII bunkers in Hawaii dug into the side of mountains. Chainsaw Charlie may be able to verify that. Course there's the SAC bunker somewhere in Colorado. Maybe we can send Mike in to remodel the bathrooms and report back some construction ideas.:laughing:
